Truly authentic New York. The reviews were not wrong. Great crust and sauce. Delicious and fresh toppings. Free drink refills. You just can't go wrong.

We got takeout from Gino's tonight for the first time from this location. It's the closest one to us so we wanted to check out how it was. We got a large pizza and some mozzarella sticks which came to $20.00. Not a bad price for a cheese pizza which is absolutely huge! The slices and the pie itself are massive. The pizza was great, an A on an A+ scale. The only thing I took off points for was the crust being a little on the dry side, it wasn't as chewy as NY pizza normally is. The mozzarella sticks were another story, they weren't very crispy when we got them home, which was a short drive, and overall were just sub par mozzarella sticks. Definitely not worth the $4.50 price. Overall this place is going to be a pizza staple for us, it's a great option over the regular chain pizza around.

Best pizza in town! I've lived this place since they opened and now they've moved into s new location and it's very nice. Looks more like an Italian restaurant than just a pizza place now. Staff is great, food is great...what's not to love?

The owners hail from Astoria, New York and they know how pizza is supposed to be made. This pie is the closest I have tasted to my former home on Long Island, NY. The crust is risen at the edges, is crispy and holds up to the well seasoned sauce, cheese and toppings. This is the real thing, located in a small strip mall, near Food Lion at the southwest corners of Forestbrook Road and Route 501. Tables and chairs are located inside the shop, so you can eat there and go for more if you'd like. Lunch specials are available. I haven't had anything other than the pizza, because it is just that good.

This place has delicious food. You get a huge slice of pizza for a good price. The staff is very nice, and it's always clean at Gino's! The bathroom is so pretty and comfortable. The whole design of the place makes it look like a five star restaurant, and that's what it is!

Was looking forward to this pie. I got the 5 topping pizza with sausage, peppetoni, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. The flavor was good. The sauce and toppings blended well together. My dislike was the soggy crust. I like my crust a little crisper. Maybe NY pizza is soggy I really do not know. Overall good experience, nice staff, and clean restaurant.

Great service and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the bada bing an 18" 5 topping pizza. The wait was only 15 mins and of course the pizza was piping hot. The topping were just as to be expected from an authentic NY style pizza restaurant. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was that my wife and I agreed it could have been cooked about 2 to 3 mins longer to get that good bubbly cheese and also the toppings seem to be piled in the center of the pizza and when it came to the outer crust portions seem to disappear. Nothing major. Good tasting pizza and great service. Would recommend to pizza lovers.

AMAZING! I have been trying to find pizza that reminds me of home for over 5 years (NJ/NY). Finally found it!!! :) and they sell by the slice, and make twice baked! I am in heaven!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
